Harvest for Hope 2013
Our 8th annual Harvest for Hope fundraiser will take place on Saturday October 19, 2013.

Mark Mekota, President of Care For Others, has been named the recipient of The Jim Norris Community Impact Award for 2012!
July 28th, 2012 6p.m.
The Jim Norris Community Impact Award was created to honor an individual who dedicates their life to their family, their community and to serving others. Jim Norris embodied this passion to be the best and lived life focused on being a great husband, father and friend. A loving husband to April, a loving Dad to Brooke & Bailee and a great friend to everyone he met.
Mark and his wife Mary, along with long time friends, Jim and Laura DiLella created Care For Others as a way to give back to the community. Seeing families in need, Care For Others was created to step in and help those who through no fault of their own are in need of financial assistance.
Please join us in congratulating Mark as the 2012 Jim Norris Community Impact Award Recipient along with the Michael Carter Group, as they host a Disability Awareness Night at the Lake County Captains, on July 28th, 2012. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the Lake County Captains website or at the gate. Game starts at 7:00 p.m. but we encourage you to arrive just before 6 p.m

2010 Harvest For Hope Winner
Rob Woolnough, highest bidder and winner of the Kiawah Island, South Carolina Package at the 2010 "Harvest For Hope" Fundraising Event, celebrating on the 18th hole of the Kiawah Island Ocean Course (home of the 2012 PGA Championship) with Jim DiLella, Vice President and Board Member of CFO. Rob and his family recently enjoyed a spectacular week experiencing all that Kiawah Island has to offer.

Because of the generosity and dedication to "giving back," this past year's 5th Annual "Harvest For Hope" Fundraising Event was yet another major success! Together, with a record number of event attendees, we raised over $50,000 that will be used to assist families and individuals exclusively through our "Helping Hands Grants."

Tailgate Time!
Vic Finomore put on the most fabulous tailgate for us before the Browns game Dec. 27. We just wanted to thank him again! The food was incredible as well as the company! The lobster tail was so good on the grill, I couldn't believe it! We had a great time. It was actually the highlight of our Christmas holiday with our 3 kids and their significant others. They are still talking about it. We have pictures posted on Facebook of it!
It was especially nice to not have to think about cooking ourselves since we were so tired from doing that through the previous days of Christmas. It was also very generous on Vic Finomore's part to donate the food and services to Care for Others. Thank you for the food, beverage and hospitality!
